Changelog
The korea-weather-forecast/forecast-version operation is no longer available as of October 23, 2026. It read KMA's forecast version endpoint (예보버전조회, getFcstVersion) on data.go.kr. Since at least October 14, 2026, that endpoint has answered every valid request without a real version: short-term forecast files return a 1970 placeholder stamp, and observation and ultra-short forecast files return an application error. On October 23, 2026, the same endpoint on KMA's API Hub (apihub.kma.go.kr) gave the same answers. KMA has not announced an end of service, but no request returns a version, so the operation could only answer that there was no data.
Stop calling korea-weather-forecast/forecast-version and remove it from saved tool lists and workflows. There is no replacement operation. If you used it to check freshness before reading a forecast, call short-forecast, ultra-short-forecast, or ultra-short-observation without base_date and base_time: they read the latest batch KMA has published. The operation used APIFuse-managed access and no customer connection, so there is nothing to clean up.
