MethodAPIPathSummary
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporationReads one Japanese corporation's registry record by its 13-digit corporate number: names (Japanese, kana, English), corporate type, registration status and latest change, closure date and cause, postal code and head-office address, representative, capital, employees (total and by sex), business summary, website, founding year, establishment date, industry divisions, unified qualification business items and grades, and when the registry last updated it. Use after a search returned a corporate_number, or when the caller already has one. Do NOT use to find corporations (use search-corporations) or for finances, subsidies, procurement and the like (use the get-corporation-* operations). Returns the record; fields the registries do not hold are null. An unknown corporate number is NO_DATA.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-certificationsLists the notifications and certifications a Japanese corporation holds as gBizINFO records them (DX certification, unified qualification grades and similar): title, category, approval date, the ministry and the target. Use when someone asks which government certifications a company has. Do NOT use for awards (use get-corporation-commendations). Returns corporate_number, name, address and certifications; an empty list means none are on record.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-commendationsLists the commendations and awards a Japanese corporation has received from the government as gBizINFO records them: title, category, award date, the ministry, the target and a note. Use when someone asks which awards a company got. Do NOT use for certifications (use get-corporation-certifications). Returns corporate_number, name, address and commendations; an empty list means none are on record.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-financeReads a Japanese corporation's figures from its securities report as gBizINFO holds them: accounting standard and fiscal-year label, up to five fiscal years of net sales, operating and ordinary revenue, ordinary and net income, capital, net and total assets and head count (whole yen; losses negative), and the major shareholders with their percentage. Use when someone asks about a company's sales, profit, assets or shareholders. Do NOT use for the registry record (use get-corporation) or for a company that files no securities report, which answers empty lists. Returns corporate_number, name, address and finance with periods and major_shareholders; years_before_report 0 is the fiscal year on the report cover.

POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-officesLists a Japanese corporation's offices registered for employment insurance as gBizINFO holds them: office name and reading, address and reading, the number of insured employees and the closure date if closed. Use when someone asks how many employees a company insures or where its registered offices are. Do NOT use for the head-office address alone (use get-corporation). Returns corporate_number, name, address and offices; an empty list means none are on record.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-procurementsLists the Japanese government procurement contracts a corporation has won as gBizINFO holds them: title, amount in yen, order date, the ministry or agency and a note. Use when someone asks what a company sold to the government. Do NOT use to find suppliers (use search-corporations with procurement_keyword or activity_types). Returns corporate_number, name, address and procurements; an empty list means none are on record.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-subsidiesLists the subsidies and grants a Japanese corporation has received as gBizINFO holds them: title, amount in yen, approval date, the ministry and the target. Use when someone asks what public funding a company got. Do NOT use to find companies that received a subsidy (use search-corporations with activity_types). Returns corporate_number, name, address and subsidies; an empty list means none are on record.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/get-corporation-workplaceReads the workplace figures a Japanese corporation has disclosed as gBizINFO holds them: average tenure (overall and by sex), average age, monthly overtime, the share of women among workers and among managers and officers, and childcare leave eligibility and uptake by sex. Use when someone asks about working conditions or diversity at a company. Do NOT use for head count or capital (use get-corporation). Returns corporate_number, name, address and workplace; workplace is null when the company disclosed nothing and each figure is null when not disclosed.
POST/v1/japan-gbizinfo/search-corporationsFinds Japanese corporations in gBizINFO by name (partial match on the registered name and its kana reading), exact corporate number, corporate type, prefecture and city code, capital, head count, founding year, net sales, total assets, whether they hold government records, which kinds, the ministry involved, subsidy, procurement, certification or patent keywords and amounts, or workplace ranges; any combination, at least one filter. Use when someone names a company or wants companies matching criteria. Do NOT use to read one corporation in full (use get-corporation and the get-corporation-* operations with its corporate_number). Returns corporations with corporate_number, name, name_english, postal_code, address, registration_status, activity_count and updated_at, one page at a time (pages 1 to 10) with returned_count and has_more; the upstream gives no total count.
