Overview

Daily exchange rates of the Korean won against 23 currencies (base, telegraphic transfer buying and selling, book price), currency conversion at those quotes, the Export-Import Bank of Korea's fixed loan base rates by term, and international benchmark rates (SOFR, ESTR, EURIBOR, TIBOR, swap rates, CIRR) for any published day since 2015. POST	/v1/korea-exchange-rate/convert-currency	Converts an amount from one currency to another at the Export-Import Bank of Korea's quotes of a day (the latest table when no date is given), at the base rate or at the telegraphic transfer rates a remittance is priced at, and rounds the result to the target currency's minor unit. Either currency may be KRW; a conversion between two foreign currencies goes through the won. Use when someone asks how much an amount is worth in another currency. Do NOT use to read rates themselves (use get-exchange-rate). Returns the converted amount, the effective rate and the won rate used for each currency; NO_DATA when a currency is not quoted that day or has no telegraphic transfer quote.
POST	/v1/korea-exchange-rate/get-exchange-rate	Reads the won exchange rate of one currency by its ISO 4217 code, for a given day or, without a date, from the most recently published table within the last week. Use when someone asks for a specific currency's rate, today or on a past day. Do NOT use for the whole table (use list-exchange-rates or get-latest-exchange-rates) or to convert an amount (use convert-currency). Returns date and the currency's base rate, telegraphic transfer rates, book price and quote_unit; NO_DATA when no table was published that day or the bank does not quote the currency.
POST	/v1/korea-exchange-rate/get-latest-exchange-rates	Finds the most recently published table of won exchange rates on or before a day, walking back one day at a time for up to a week past weekends, holidays and the morning hours before 11:00 Korea time. Use when someone asks for the current exchange rates without naming a day. Do NOT use for the table of one specific day (use list-exchange-rates) or for one currency only (use get-exchange-rate). Returns date, the day the table was published, and rates for all 23 currencies; NO_DATA when no table was published in the seven-day window.
POST	/v1/korea-exchange-rate/list-exchange-rates	Lists the Export-Import Bank of Korea's exchange rates against the Korean won for one calendar day: for each of the 23 quoted currencies the base rate (매매기준율), telegraphic transfer buying and selling rates, book price and the Seoul Money Brokerage quotes, all in KRW per quote_unit units of the currency (100 for JPY and IDR). Use when someone wants the full table of a given day, today included. Do NOT use for the most recent available table on a weekend or before 11:00 Korea time (use get-latest-exchange-rates), for one currency (use get-exchange-rate) or to convert an amount (use convert-currency). Returns date and rates; rates is empty when the bank published no table that day.
