MethodAPIPathSummary
POST/v1/korea-stray-animals/get-stray-animalReads one rescued animal's full record by its animal_id: species, breed, sex, age, weight, rescue date and place, features, vaccinations, health screenings, status and outcome, notice dates, photos, shelter contact, and the shelter's adoption, adoption support, volunteering and event notices. Use after search-stray-animals returned an animal_id and the caller wants the details or how to adopt. Do NOT use to find animals; use search-stray-animals. Returns the animal's fields plus shelter_notices; a record stays readable after the animal was returned, adopted or died.
POST/v1/korea-stray-animals/list-breedsLists the breeds the animal protection system records for dogs, cats or other species, with the code search-stray-animals takes as breed_code. Use when someone names a breed and you need its code. Do NOT use to find animals; use search-stray-animals. Returns the species and its breeds with code and Korean name.
POST/v1/korea-stray-animals/list-regionsLists the provinces of South Korea, or the districts of one province, with the seven-digit organisation codes the other operations take as region_code and district_code. Use when you need a code for a province or district before listing shelters or searching animals. Do NOT use to find animals; use search-stray-animals. Returns regions with code and name, and parent_code when the list is one province's districts.
POST/v1/korea-stray-animals/list-sheltersLists the animal shelters registered for one district of South Korea, with the shelter_id that search-stray-animals takes as a filter. Use when someone asks which shelter serves a district, or to narrow a search to one shelter. Do NOT use to find animals or a shelter's phone and address; search-stray-animals rows carry those. Returns shelters with shelter_id and name; an empty list means the district has no registered shelter.
POST/v1/korea-stray-animals/search-stray-animalsSearches rescued stray and lost animals in South Korean shelters by species, breed, province, district, shelter, sex, neutering, status, rescue date range and last-update date range. Use when someone is looking for a lost pet, wants to adopt, or asks what animals a region or shelter holds. Do NOT use to read a shelter's notices for one animal (use get-stray-animal) or to look up codes (use list-regions, list-shelters or list-breeds). Without rescued_from only animals received in the last month are searched. Returns animals with animal_id, species, breed, sex, age, weight, rescue date and place, status, notice dates, photos and shelter contact, newest first, one page at a time with total_count and has_more.
